The Mysterious Boat Bandits!

The story begins with two friendly fellows chopping down a few trees to make a third boat for a new member of their party. These two fellows go by the names of Cheemoo(me, Cheemo), and Sock(cmensock). The new member to join them is called Chefkokkie.

These men had two boats resting on the river shore, holding crates with all their precious valuables. About halfway through the construction of the new boat, an unknown pair of men came crashing down the river! They picked up one of our boats... and sailed away in less than a second. The next couple of minutes were completely stripped of intelligent thinking, as we were too busy laughing our asses off. This was followed by an interesting conversation in Steam.
I am Tsheemin, Bisukottishefu is Chefkokkie, and Sock is Sock. Ignore everyone else, as they are unimportant.

Tsheemin: 2 people come downstream on 1 boat
Tsheemin: take a boat
Tsheemin: and leave
Tsheemin: really fast
Sock: and then they swing buy us, GRAB A BOUT, and drive away with the boat in their hands
Sock: we had crates in there too
Tsheemin: like within 2 seconds of them being in sight of us
Tsheemin: they pick up the boat and are out of sight
Sock: they didnt even exit the boat
Sock: it was crazy
Bisukottishefu: So now we just have my boat?
Tsheemin: no
Tsheemin: they took your boat
Bisukottishefu: Ohgodwhat
Tsheemin: im still crying and giggling
Sitansuomu: lol wut
Sock: that was crazy
Sock: well then
Tsheemin: it lasted for 2 seconds

We weren't even afk. But I do remember a bunch of people who were in a group with "Spruce Cap" in the name.

However, the people who stole our boat were in highhats. Whatever.

I had this happen to me today. Just started to play again, and me and my friends started up a little 'village' area. I went off to explore/gather WWW and I got off a boat to grab a nettle or what ever for the lp, and suddenly I just see a guy dart toward my boat on his own, grab it, and was off. Luckily there was only a chair and like...wild string material in there, maybe a bunny or two.

My reaction ---> LawL...What? I...am not even sure that just happened.
