Hmm, actually i have one from mid World 5
I woke up one morning to see that my village
was under attacked, people were screaming
in the Skype chat that we were under attack.
Naturally, as their archer and tactical master
i logged in, sighed and tried to figure out
where to be.
"PORT TO THE CAVE PORT TO THE CAVE!"
so, i port to the cave with my bow out, prepared
to shoot some random boar tusk hat guy or
something.... i appear right on top of a dhelmer
and i see my entire village outside the palisade
i was now trapped in.
A lag spike kicks in and i sit there for a second,
just sorta looking at the dhelmer, they just
looked back at me, the lag stops. We're still
staring at eachother for about 2 seconds before
they agro me with a punch and instantly break
my defence bar ( I only had 38 UA and 100 Melee,
but had a bow out).
I immediately throw off my bow and lift my shield
and sword, thinking of running off into the cave...
but then another Dhelmer appears from the cave,
this one had a necro robe... I start regaining my
defence and try to pull the necro robe off of the
cave entrance so i can run, but then my village
leader (400 UA) ports in, i try to help him fight them
just as an archer appears outside our walls and starts
to snipe off the helpless, brave villagers who are
trying to get us out of there... soon another friend
ports into the small death trap, but we are all in a
dire situation. The merch robe dhelmer had at least
500 UA, the other i don't even know, but i was slain
after about 5 minutes of fighting in a very confined
space with no stats and being hit without my shield
on to start it off.
almost everyone in my village died that day, because
i ported to the place they told me to, but they didn't
actually mean for me to port DIRECTLY there... but
that's life, eh?
RIP my heroic villagers that tried to save me, but all
died for my mistake. You all made me feel like we had
an amazing bond... as we all died together
