I Just Looooove Murder

Postby DukeBenjy » Wed Oct 06, 2010 12:30 am

As the 'Death-Plume' of a character's death evaporates into nothing above their fallen corpse, signifying their character's ending, does anyone else feel the same brutal satisfaction that I embrace? Does anyone feel as though this game teaches us that killing is actually fun? Because I'd sure imagine killing someone you hate irl would actually feel as good as ending someone's life here.

Tl;dr.
Does anyone think the whole death thing in this game is not so much a sharp contrast to real life death, but very closely linked?

I bloody love killing!

That doesn't work.
It's like for every one person you kill in HnH, 5 come to make the server lag.

I know what you mean about in game,
it's nearly intoxicating to see the the
black cloud of death rise over those
i claim with my own two hands. Their
terror as they run from my blade or
attempt to dodge my arrows to no
avail, they drop and i stand over them
talking to them sweetly, sometimes
letting them stand up only to shoot them
as soon as they move. Some don't mind
death at first, but when they get the
glimpse of survival again and again
they start to strive for it and feel an
odd lust for survival when the greivous
damage finally brings them down and
i whisper in their ear 'requiescat in pace,
for now.' and the dark cloud of death
drifts gently over their body, eyeing
me and leaving it's purple stain upon the
ground hoping to claim me as well.

As for the real life thing... No, killings
wrong, pain is the greatest teacher of
them all, offering someone to drop out
is stupidity on your part.
