Moments of triumph and jubilation

Postby saltmummy626 » Sun Oct 10, 2010 9:20 am

Today, I woke up and tried to log on. finding the server down my first word was, "fuck." why? Ive been trying to start up my silk production for awhile now, and this is the third load of silk moth eggs I've tried to start up. before going to work today I was convinced that my efforts to get silk would be doomed to fail. the eggs would have hatched at about 11:00 American pacific time. when I got home at 10:00 PM I didnt bother to check and instead watched some predator movie. after that was done, I logged onto haven and looked at the table knowing what I would find. To my great surprise I find that there are 9 little worms on my table. I slap myself and realize that the worms don't die as quickly I thought. derp derp derp derp.

anyways, what have found or accomplished that made you feel like; "YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH."

Wellllll...

There's also the fact that the server was down for near 8 hours tonight. ;) That could've had an impact on how long it took them to die.

They will survive for 8 IRL hours after they've hatched, just so you know. After 4 hours if you haven't moved them to a cupboard to eat, they will go down in quality. (if they ever starve twice they just die)

When I first melee-attacked an IX bear and saw that it couldn't get past my defenses. That was pretty much a moment of triumph.

That, and the epic salami feast 10 min later...

Attacking a deer with a sling and having him walk up to me and start 'dancing', his dancing went in perfect tune with Axel F which I was listenign to. 8-)

Had to kill him when he stopped dancing... :(

accidentally telling my character to shoot
twice in a row at someone without reaiming,
both shots hit, made me full of happiness.

I love that when, by some strange and unlikely chance you accidentally fire before loading aiming and actually hit.
