Is this what has come to the game?

Postby alasmaya » Tue Dec 07, 2010 10:03 pm

I started the game with some friends, and we were very good, we had begun to build our village, with quiet, suffering from the wild animals that did not stop killing us, and today I learned that my friend has been killed by a stupid passing through there and he decided to kill him, and there is also a skill that lets you permanently kill him, fucking so all your work, and well, the murderer leaves a trail ... For what? "To follow and kill you too? Who assures me he will not return from there to kill the rest?

Is that with this kind of shit no wonder the players lose game and leaving it, that there is enough to wild animals and the difficulty of getting things to come over a stupid to touch the eggs.

Translated with Google, I'm not going to take the hassle of you to understand perfectly, I am very angry.

Haven & Hearth is made to be hard. It's made to make you fear death. No one is your friend, unless you know them in real life. You should get a wall up, and a claim on your land, to protect from people like him.
When in doubt, let the rocks fly.

H&H is a permadeath open PvP game, you will have to learn to deal with that. It is not just some farmville clone, if that was what you expected. Take the security advice above, or better yet read the guide in my signature. You will also get an ancestor when you die, look up the wiki to find out what exactly that means.

Also don't assume stuff you know nothing about, this game has been constantly growing over the last year.

In response to your title, I would say that this is not what the game has become, but you realizing the true nature of the game. The trail, by the way, is for you to hunt down the murderer. Since you don't know much about tracking, you should find someone to hunt down the murderer for you (people will often do it for free or for whatever you can afford to trade).

It is a tough game, but that just makes victories so much sweeter.

Not unless you at least palisade it, better brickwall it. Even then there are ways to get in, this game never guarantees you 100% saftey.

Now now alasmaya, In this game those who cling
tightly to their characters find only pain and loss,
those who accept death as a possibility yet have
a healthy fear of it find the game to be incredibly
fun and challenging... until you win of course.

Well, my friend left the game because that.... that made him to lose everything he done... and dislikes to play all starting at 0

Yeah, death is a part of the game, but that a character can enter your teritory killus, permanently whitouth no reverse, well, this makes a bit harder to continue to play, even when you started 2 weeks ago and can't defend yourself... even with a palisade...

Well i think the game losses 3 players, enjoy your play, good luck.
