I read that it took 400 silkmoth cocoons to make a merchant's coat. I may give up on that shit altogether.

Merchant Cloaks aren't hard...

You just need to have a few herb tables, a mulberry tree next to the house, and then you're all set.

The trick is to not make any cocoons into filaments until you have a steady amount of 60-100+ eggs to use.

Definitely. Always keep a good few cupboard's worth of extra eggs on hand, just in case the server spazzes, or you get an unexpected visitor, or your lab explodes, or... well, you know, shit happens.

I had 220 silkworms that needed to be fed in my last batch of silkworms (I keep them all at the same stage). Bo-ring.
