I really enjoyed my stay here at the forums and on this game.

Congrats to the devs for making such a great game in their spare time, and with no pay no-less. Really congratulations, not being pass-aggressive or condescending.

I've played quite a few MMOs and this is by far, the best. Maybe i've just not treaded the permadeath waters a whole lot, but this game has alot of heart.

I probably didn't play long enough to get to know anyone from any of the major factions or anyone important here. But i spend 150+ hours on this game so i thought it was only right i make a goodbye thread. And i'm trying my best to do it with grace.

Well Shocker; I got killed by a bear. =P. Calling down thunder and opertunity knocks with a bronze sword just wasn't good enough i suppose. And it's my own damn fault. I'm not surprised at all the ragequit threads here, because you need some serious persevering with this game. (at least if you're incredibly slow...like me).

Trying to maintain a job, help my family, and have a social life (some people would call it that...hah..). And this is a serious sinkhole of my time, especially if you're obsessive about every great new thing you find.

So..just wanted to say thanks devs. You made a sweet game, hope you make money off of it someday. Maybe you already are (yay salem). This game has a couple awesome music refrences i can't remember right now...oh yeah "light my fire". Nice... Just generally a great game

And also wanted to say thanks to my village mates, we came from a 4chan thread. It was pretty sick. Few of you may know me as Jack Wagon, FuckBears, Jack II, Jack III, and For a very short period of time, jack IV. (Bear, boar, bear, alt, and ragequit...respectively).

Never ran into many griefers, i was very far north. And all the russians were surprisingly friendly. I wrote a few ark.su scripts (damn russians, make it so hard for us Amerikanskaya to adapt their scripts). Nothing game-breaking or major, clearly it wasn't enough to get me to a high enough level to hurt a bear. Tried to write non-descrutive scripts so i didn't get killed for botting AND killing the forest. Couple ant-killing revisions, and was working on a paving/eating script, never finished though.

So thanks, and goodbye. I won't be checking this thread because i've officially sworn off this game. But to all the rage quitters out there, i feel for you man.

Yeah, I've been running a few of my own scripts on akrsu in hopes of fighting a bear one day too ya know, I've had a few bad runs, but I won't let it get me down, just gota get that script running again, and try, try, try till you succeed! Feel your pain.
