I'm pretty sure that isn't irony. Coincidence maybe?

I hear ya man. with development of Salem ongoing, I figured we may have a year or more to mess with world 4, but cest la vie. I'm looking forward to a new world not overrun by stumps, buckets and construction signs.

We all knew World 4 would be short. After all, it ONLY came about because two major factions abused a duping bug in world 3. If it weren't for that, World 3 would have lasted at least another year, in my opinion.

World 4 was very unbalanced. There were people abusing the mining system by macroing, among other things.

Crazy Russians... Yeah, I started a week ago after quitting for MONTHS, and now I see all my work for a week (TEN EFFING HOURS OF MY LIFE) was for naught. Damn it. At least I have hope that w5 will last a while.

World 4 was put up(by my understanding) when a bug got into the system and it was easier to just wipe the system and start up world 4 with no real new changes. some of my friends even just called it world 3.5. which explains why world 5 was put up before world 4 expanded at all. which also means world 5 will go on longer.
Although i cant say im too please about the new lp system. It's interesting yet im worried it'll feel too weird or worse, not work properly. (IE. LP gain is too low to gain appropriate amount of skills) Though im sure they've tested it and will iron it out as we play. This is an still an alpha, we still are testers.

I doubt this will last very long, with all the changes being made, it seems impossible to get LP.

LP gain seems limited and fixed to discovery of items, but this is severely limited to your area.
You get 50 + LA% LP each time, which is very little, and you get LP off of studying curiosities... Which turns this into a LP waiting game.
At some point, you'll need to built important stuff, but then issues and bugs will arise, like needing to discover materials, which means your goal is dividing up every time you take a step forward.

Removal of any LP gain from any actions basically will cause hnh to dry up in terms of player population, since nobody has the patiences except bots.
All bots needs to do is be fed curiosities, and wait... It's slower, but so long as it can be automated, it can be done.

Legit players may hit a wall, while bots somehow digs under it.
