Silk Sweatshops (And high efficiency set-ups)

Postby ValerieHallaway » Sat May 07, 2011 9:08 am

So, how do you guys have your silk shops set up? What have you found to be the best methods for producing a constant and timely product? Any tips on making a more efficient and well oiled machine?

I'd say 20 tables minimum and enough cupbards to feed the worms from 20 tables.

For cupboards and then use the other two stories for tables 1 loom 1 spinning wheel. Restock the cupboards in your spare time (even if the worms aren't in it) have a big hemp field outside with a mulberry tree right outside that is cycled with another spot constantly being regrown. Oh and of course a metal cauldron some where (I don't think it's quality matters).

Efficient would be a mine hole with mulberry on top really.

If mineholes didn't take up so much space to move down multiple layers they would simply be the best to have a multi-plane village with things taking up their most effective space that way. The same way that a full mansion with a cellar is way more useful than 2-3 mansions for anything you want to do efficiently.

I had a minehole silkshop in w3, made it so much easier than a mansion.

We should have a thread with people posting their very efficient layouts for things, to see who's best. Also give some initial ideas for newbies starting up.

A good example is the Ultimate Coop Layout for starters.
