Which world # is the best?

My choice is world 3. It was dynamic, with exciting and clear geopolitics, more continuous and intensive trade relations. People were not afraid of playing style this game intended to be played - sand-box. There were creative ambitions all around and idea-driven undertakings. There were a lot of juicy updates.

The bad things about w3 were lags, abandoned villages, campfire construction signs everywhere and ugly deforestation.

This would be the best world if we had any updates. Otherwise yeah 3.

I miss animals being dangerous but not lethally so.

I miss when my cartography maps were slightly valuable because nobody had invented a good scripted global map system.

Yeah, it was. I often kept boats and valuable containers behind trees and boulders when traveling far at the beginning of w3, and they were never robbed. The problem with boat is that it would reset its direction if nobody been around for some time, so you had to sail in that default direction first, then lift it and place it somewhere people would not likely to walk.

Several times we managed to build rams behind pine trees :)

I loved world 3, but I was also happy to see it go for the simple reason that occasionally, you need a refresher. things grow old and break down. w3 wasn't breaking down, but things had grown stale for me. doesn't change the fact that I liked w3 the best.

3, but only because this one has no updates. If barter stands worked for curios, this one would win, though.
