Town Websites

Postby Flareboy323 » Wed Jun 22, 2011 5:45 pm

I'm starting my own little service called HavenTown. For the low, low price of free I'll make your town/settlement a website! These are purely coded in HTML by me, DJ (Or Flareboy323, however you know me). I will send you all of the files you need for the website, you just have to upload it to a free hosting website.

I've already made one for the settlement that I'm currently at, called Oblivion. I'll be posting pictures soon!

If you would like a website please fill out an application as follows:

Code: Select all
Settlement Name: (The name of your settlement)
Background Color: (The background color of the website)
Text Color: (The color of the text on the website)
Logo: (A link to a logo, if you have one)
Pages: (What pages you want, like "About us", "Join our settlement", "Contact Us", etc)
Comments: (Any extra things you want)

Current Websites being worked on:

1.
2.
3.

I'm only working on 3 at a time, so request fast!

Enjoy!

Should definitely consider:
1)Having a phpBB forum
2)With Mediawiki integration
3)Everything in PHP+ CSS

Why not just use one of the existing guild hosts? You get calendars, forums, and a home page.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Actually, I think a social networking site for HnH Villages would be a friggin sweet idea. With a little Google AdSense, you'd even make a coin or two out of it, if you did it right.

Sorry, letting someone else manage your village website is too much of a security risk.

Actually I think he is just offering to make/generate the needed files. After that you/they have to manage it them self. (But managing something you did not create is also a bad idea.)

Lack of available proof of available skills is making it a questionably offer in my view.

I'm actually curious to see what a sample would look like, just because I do web design myself.
