Has it been this bad since W5? I remember W3 there were lag spikes and times where you couldn't play. But for the Very few times I started on W5 it's been constant Lag. Is there a thread explaining what's going on? Or am i just doing the Wrong place, Wrong time thingy

Ever since the nuked areas, it's been laggy. I've heard people going near the nuked areaas make it lag, not sure what of it is true.

i also heard it lags when raining.

They moved the files back to the old server they had in W3 which had all those lag spikes.

Loftar somehow changed the hardware setup to prevent data loss in the event of crashes after the last little adventure we had. Apparently this change is what is causing the present lag spikes.

I'm at the point where I'm only logging in for Curio and farm grinding now, till the lag fixes up. Too dangerous to risk a fight, or a swim, or anything outside of my Palisade - and even within it is dangerous, unable to outrun catapulted arrows and stones.
