Russians are not bad people - Rant

So let me just start out by saying that I am an american player, and have through my own trouble with Russians and heard many bad things about them. I understand the concept of the language barrier, but lets assume you already all know this.

About 2 weeks ago, I met an english speaking, powerful, russian neighboor. We began to talk, communicate, trade, and he was probably one of the more friendliest people I've met. When we had trouble with a raider in our village, he would always come to help us. He's also taught me how to say DONT KILL ME in russian.. but I forgot.

What makes me angry the most is that as bad as many think russians are, I've seen english-speakers do much worse things, and be just as cruel. There are a lot of ignorant people on both sides of this language barrier, and I hope some come to realize that there are good people on both sides.

And no, I'm not asking for everyone to hold their hands together and sing. Just a rant.

Pretty much everyone knows this. The russian alliance are the bad ones, russian players in general are not

i'vnever had issues with russians...although the last people that attacked my village were russians but i've always had good dealings with russians in general, especially in world 4.

I used to live next to a large Russian village. I forgot the name of it now, but I want to say Xymop? Anyways. They were very friendly in the fact that they left me alone and never bothered me.

I generally have more respect for foreigners that
talk to me... it's just alot of the time i'm tracking
scents to them, so that respect diminishes unless
they give a reasonable excuse... other than "I KILL
YOU- I RUA, NOOB. YOU WANT DIE!? " then i just
drop um on their back and mark one up for the
pandas jokingly =p

Koreans are a bit more kind generally... japanese
are pretty cool, dont run when i roll up.

weird that most foreigners still go O.O when i introduce
myself after they either; fight back, so i highfive um,
or i randomly help them when i see um on the side
of the river

Russians that go through the trouble of using a
translator to communicate with me when i don't seem
to be a threat of any kind and or too much of a possibility
for future trade... those are cool people, so i use translator
back and we laugh at eachother's terrible grammar =p

I met a really nice Russian village's LS.. He introduced me to the game and everything.

He gave me gifts, helped me hunt, and helped me through the new curiosity system.

He was a great friend..

Sadly, I came back from vacation to see him dead.
