Too bad the actual game requires an insane amount of imagination and patience to learn all those fucking ASCII symbols.... The graphics pack was shit. Still it's always a game I wanted to get into. Great stories none the less, thanks for the read

What the hell are you guys on about, there are some great tilesets available and there is Stonesense which gives a 3D view of the game and looks a hell of a lot better than that picture.

The goblins lawspeaker who was a forgotten beast/demon and 10 goblins flew in on giant bats and landed right in my unprotected courtyard and butchered everyone, I had around 50 military dwarfs, in the end I only had 4 left who managed to slay him:

Sorry to shatter your dreams but I believe that picture is a few centuries old. There was not even any information about whether this is an actual project when it appeared. I doubt anything will come of it.
