Close call encounter

I was minding my own business sailing the seas in my grand vessel when i spy another boat, the man wore a bear cape and necro robe. I sailed next to him and i said im a cat. He said WTF and then started smashing my boat and aggroed me, i ran, he sailed after me. After a brief sailing he gets out of his boat and i pick it up. Feeling generous I said I will give you your boat back if you will stop chasing me for no reason. I put his boat down and he jumps in and sails after me yet again bashing my boat. After a 30 minute boat chase i try to talk to him. He jumps in my boat and punches me takes me down to 9% defense. However i manage to elude him through the woods and hearth just barely. I had him described so i named him "5 kinds of asshole"

Dude, people will kill you even over nothing, leave alone being fucking naive and randomly weird.

Cats, huh? If I found a talking cat I'd try to kill it too, it sounds rare and probably makes some awesome curios.

I wish the game allowed for more harmless encounters between random players. Basically the current atmosphere teaches you to avoid all outside contact and be weary of anyone you come across.

Hard to believe I literally sat outside my "guesthouse" on the river afk in a chair for hours greeted passerbys with free goodies back in W3.

If there was a viable way to siege a town, that would become possible again.
