I started this game 7 february 2012. Im totaly in this wild frontier craft player regulated games BUT

Whats with all of the assholes on this servers. I have been killed 6 times now in a week. There was only one guy who was nice, His name was Mumma. All the others it went like this

Me - "Hi "

-me dead

I look like a noob ingame, I am a noob ingame. WTF is wrong with everybody.. All these green hadded EMO dipshits who have to kill new people. Im totally for permadeath and shit but this is freaking scary.


I came here because i read about Salem and saw some interviews with the devs. Me and 3 other friends started playing H&H because we totally love the setting adn crafting and the wildness of things. But this is just griefers on steroids.

My observation is you cant enter this game as a new person. Just not possible. If you ever want to make money out of this game you should protect the new players.. (not alts but new players). Im no sissy and im a hardcore ganker in other games but at least you have a fighting chance there and you get a little bit of time to at least make friends.

STOP KILLING THE NOOBS..let us grow up and learn the game. Im sure you dont Salem only to be played by 1000 people.

I hope you enjoyed stealing my crate with q5 carrots because that was all i got.

Hahaha, oh wow dude, you had it worse then my brother did when he first started playing.
You need to advance fast and start killing/pillaging/blackmailing newbies yourself, otherwise you will never truly enjoy H&H.

Not sure where you spawned but if you've literally been killed 6 times since starting, you are doing something wrong. Rule 1 of Haven is "Stay the hell away from people."

Rule 1 can be circumvented by finding a village here on the forums but if you're gonna go it alone, don't talk to people.

There are pl like that in game but not all of us, u must be located in a particularly unfriendly part of the map. Where i am located we help out each other, there are two main big villages (mine is one) and we fully support each other and new players - thieves r swiftly dealt with, mostly, without there being any violence what-so-ever.
I would suggest you move yourselves to a different area of the map.

Well, while it does give you a correct impression about the game and how harsh it can be this is a little much and has more to do with a current imbalance in game mechanics that heavily favores those who like to play an agressive playstyle. Basically all big peaceful factions have left the game by now. So it is hell out there. In previous worlds such killers didn't exist since the police forces would hunt such guys down pretty swiftly.

Once the game is being developed again (so after the release of Salem) that is probably what will be adressed foremost and then we will hopefully go back to a HnH that is still harsh, but not completely ridiculous like right now.

Till then try and find a spot far away from anyone else (or join an existing town). Early game is still a lot of fun as long as you don't get so unlucky as you did. So I hope you can enjoy it a bit more from now on. Work on getting a palisade and then a brickwall up asap and get your behind in some metal gear so people cannot shoot you easily and you should do a lot better from there.

now that youre settled in nicely, i can offer you a safeisch place to learn, tomorow, i gotta go shower and go stare out the window in a train for 2 hours now. ill pm you tomorow if you want.

ofcourse a rule is to be paranoid and not trust anyone cause everyone is out to stab you. youll have to develop a good intuition to know when its safe.

For what it's worth from my days with Kralmir I know he is a decent guy, although those are gone quite a while.

But Kralmir, get rid of that avatar Sarchi made you...that thing is ridiculous and I always think he is still posting from that account.

My place is around -116, 70 in between 2 rivers.

Its crawling with murder scents now . I guess being at the end and beginning of 2 rivers is the problem.. I move to a quiet spot..
