So I tell a lot of people about this game. but for some reason nobody will play it? I get responses such as "permadeath is gay" and "the graphics are shit" and even "it has nothing on wow.
Let me proceed to address these claims.
1) Permadeath teaches you a few valuable lessons, the most important of which is not to think you can take on anything in the gameworld unlike in wow (I'll get to that).
2) straight to the point; who gives a damn about graphics? runescape used to be no better, and tons of people play that. The gameplay and semi-realism of this game is fantastic.
3) big number 3, okay, Wow is shit (sorry if I offend anybody) I just personally dont care to kill the same thing 769876 times for an enchanted necklace of +5 attack rating. sorry. not my cup of tea. also the WoW world is predictable. This game however, is not. you never know when that boar or bear is on the next screen.
Just my honest opinion.

Lol this is true. I just don't understand why people have to have the newest best looking thing. pay money to get bored on wow when you can just play this for free and never really be bored. i play from like 5pm to 2-4 am. probably unhealthy but you actually typically HAVE to work for what you want in this.

Heh over the summer I'd be known to play from the time I got up until the time I went to sleep. That was before I graduated though. The graphics don't mean much to me, tbh the style is pleasing to my eyes. Beats maplestory's 2-D.

I actually agree 100%. I used to play all day but I now have a job. so I play when im not at work. which is still way too much.
