What are your goals?

Dear friends, in such an open ended game one must seek to make his or her own fun.

This can take the form of acquiring certain resources, building certain structures or attaining certain ranks.

Others play to interact with their neighbours, for the benefit or impoverishment of said neighbours.

My question is this, what keeps you going? What are your goals?

I ask this due to being stuck in a rut, having completed my current goals and being at a bit of a loss.

I'm tempted to up-sticks and move to greener pastures, where the swamps are unforaged and the rivers run with fish.

Mine was to bash again but I'm there. Now? Make our DJing room as successful as possible and die a LOT less.

my goal for this world is to see how long i can survive in a peaceful village. worlds 3, 4, and 5 started out ok but then....

My current short term goals involve simply getting high stats, raiding as many places as I can and stabbing as many people as I can.

My long term goal is to set a new record for not dying, which I have already done.

• Win a fight in self-defense (always died in the past)
• Swim across the largest lake I can find and survive.
• Create a local market for peaceful people that I trust
• Finally get a dragon helm again
• Found a "tutorial" style village to teach newbs and help them prepare join real villages
• Leave behind no devastation, no debts, and no hard feelings

- make the best steel sword (my record is ql 126 on W5)
- kill 100 heartlings with a 2 uac char (done)
- make some unity of all peacfull villages to create some +100 villagers town with working coin system
- explore unknown world called "end of world" and create there a hearthvault

I'm at that point where I'm asking myself, what's the point? There's not really much going on in my supergrid. I've even raided a few places, left obvious scents, and there's not a lick of attention nor forum buzz from it. Heck, I spent two hours mining into a neighbour's mining hole, raided all his lovely everything, called a buddy to bash the gate open, and waited for a siege. Nothing.

I tried to get back into gameplay today, after some time away. I got my cheeses sorted, my study on the go, prepared for a massive incursion on my farming fields... but... the lag... I spent two minutes doing 15 tiles or so.
