Does anyone know if the wondrous wood shavings go to the top of the boards made? Or do I have to pick up and move all the planks to see if there are wood shavings there?

Ah, the wiki said 1 in 50 logs or something. I figured it was a gross examination of the rates.

I've found 2 since the curio system got implemented. I think I sawed up more than 100 logs in that time.

Truth is, I'm trying to lower my hunger, got overstuffed because I wanted to level.
Figured I'd chop trees and hope to find one.

Iv done about the same and never seen one.

Also been digging up stumps since kingdom come,never seen a root, does it matter if you use a shovel? (only done that recently thought)

Pulling stumps spends more stamina than making boards and is more environment friendly. And you *might* get a strange root.
