Infantry, one of the best games i've ever had the pleasure to play. It belonged to SOE, but soe sucks dick so they plugged it off.

This game has a much higher learning curve than HnH, by far! If you're man enough, dare it. The community is much worse than this one, no russians though, but it also works in its favor, its kinda like its charm really, a rude, racist and homophobe community, but you'll get used to it.

The game kinda faded away, thanks to SOE, at one point they even had a pay2play system going on, which really explains why today the community decreased so much.

It has lots of zones to try out, but mostly everyone now just hangs at CTF. I might be wrong, but last time a pirate server was run, there were a bunch of editors that allowed you to create your own zone and map.

I used to have so much fun on Kliest's Ridge. And then they axed it in favour of no-vehicles maps and crappy football maps, so I quit.

Kliest Ridge was meh, NML and Outpost Delta were the best Skirmish zones.

Some didnt like chamberts moon but i was that High level dinosaur LOL

(before they made 3 diff versions of it )

Ah the good ol days, I played quite a bit with a friend, who played even more than I, who became a GM & ref. Was fun to be able to see some of the indev items and mod powers.

As for whether or not it's legit I can't vouch for but I know there has been a free server out and about for quite a while now.

Yup been for awhile now. we even got bots goin on, in Zombie Zone. amazing how SOE neglected the potential of this game.
Thank god there are people out there who love this game enough to devlop it better than SOE employees.

I ran across it (somehow) looking for a pre-NGE SWG server, and it's got some positive remarks. If you're that concerned with viruses and malware, get a good AV and firewall. Besides, networking without those is like having gay sex without condoms in the early 80s--you'll likely get a disease like GIDS and die.

I enjoy playing FPS games, but I suck balls in multiplayer. If there's a few HnH players, I might pick it up if they want to deal with my noob ass.

Legitimately good game. If they get a zone up for Bug Hunt or Chamberts Moon then I'll be down to play again.
