My first bear

Postby Shizuzu » Thu May 31, 2012 7:07 am

I'm reporting my first ever bear kill.
Ql 11 bow (found it in an abandoned farm)
MMS 13
bunny bone arrows (ql 10 bone)

It took about 1 1/2 hours
my kill streak is now:
1 bear
5 boars
3 rams
7 foxes
and countless bunnies and chickens

Next target the most dangerous game... man

Here in all its bad pun glory

The pun is the only thing that kept me from yelling at you to put this in the screenshot thread :P

I fucking miss these days. I miss not knowing anything about the world around you's politics, how to fight, or not even caring how to defend myself. The first bear kill definitely boosts your personal epeen on hnh.

Very well done! Had my first bear kill a day ago as well, didn't take quite so long with 40 Melee Combat and a q15 Milita Sword though. :P

I love the ender client btw, the zoom is very helpful in finding animals to shoot at and the grid thing is helpful for building other then that i can figure out the controls lol

These will save you a lot of time: http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Keyboard_Shortcuts

As for Ender's Client:

Control + X = Xray
Control + H = Hide

All you really need to know, try to learn the hotkeys like ANL for Laying Stone and XHT for Toggling whether trees are hidden with CTRL+H. For these you can just study the menus and commit the keystrokes to memory. Or you can use the hotbar, but that's too easy.

Oh thank you I was simply content with the grid and zoom but that helps a lot. This is one of the most friendly forum communities I've seen.

Don't get the wrong idea, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
