Hello heaven community, i was reading the forum a bit on how to get started and from what i've tried the game is nice and fun. but also very complex and mistakes seems to be punishable by perm death. which is weird but seems nice and makes you wonder does one even survives without a village?

so i tried it out a bit and desided id like to know how does one join a village? i was running around for a while but every land and everything seems abandoned. how you guys communicate? (seems to be no global channel ect) and how do you start socializing and work as team ect (like in the videos which looks epic XD)

PS: the server lag issues are really server-side or are there any tweaks i can use to improve the lag spikes?

Hi

If you're looking to join a village, the Dwarves & Thieves section of the forum is where you should look.

It's server lag too, there is nothing you can do to reduce it as far as I know. Maybe.

Will check the Dwarves & Thieves section tomorrow. I like the game idea, mechanics, graphics and somehow even the perm death (even tho i died to wildlife twice already )

but the lag makes it unbearable. are there like better hours to play or something? Cause at the moment im having hard time enjoying the fact i need to click 5 times on same spot to walk there cause char keeps 'teleporting' back thanks to the lag :S

I'm not sure, I play at different times throughout the day and night and still find the lag bad, sometimes it's better, most of the time it seems the same.

Just click once when you want to walk somewhere, I find it doesn't make your character rubberband around the place so much.
