Where is everyone?

Hey people, im a noob to Haven and Hearth and just started playing 3 days ago. One thing i noticed right away was that chat was, well, nonexistant. In these last 3 days i also have not seen seen a single person. So my question is, Where the hell is everyone?!?!?

It's a very large gameworld, the lag has scared a lot of the 1000ish players away until it's fixed so you'd be best to join a village if you want to see anyone.

Ok. I have a soft spot for 2D rpg's and this has the best gameplay of any i have ever come across. With a group of dedicated devs this could be realy epic. It sorta bums me out to see something with so much potential have all these bugs and I hope that the devs find time to work everything out.

I wish new players would read around a-bit before asking these kinds of questions. There's gotta be a bunch of "Where is everyone?" type threads.

Even at it's peak population, it was rare to see anyone who isn't a villagemate.
The world is larger than you realize. Have you seen the world map? Zoom in with mouse scroll.

People should just answer the gd question or not bother commenting at all.
OP, the casual player population you would likely chat with have been murdered and left the game long ago. Check the wizards tower for mods that include an embedded IRC client.
You'll be flying solo, there are zero functioning villages willing to help new players.

Lol everyone in this thread is trolling. hnh went single player a while ago. if you want to play with.others youll need to find a server

Yeah, you should download the multiplayer client and join the new player's server.
