Server lags are worst than before. 60+ players online.
Game barely playable. ( Iam just now trying to tame a animal..server keeps dc me every 2-4 minutes)

We need to do something ! now.
Dev's cant just abandon a game that gives them reputation and idea for Salem ( Yes that game that is forcing you to pay for silvers )
I don't wanna hear.. We cant do anything about it or they will not respond.
If i had they address i would write them by my hand.
I don't think fixing HaH lags will stop Salem from progress for long (maybe for some hours)

This has been discussed to death. The issue isn't that the devs don't want to fix Haven, it's that they lack the tools to do so. The software necessary to root out the problem doesn't exist yet. In the bug tracker Loftar has asked for help in the form of simulating similar problems so that he can analyze them to fix Haven.

As for everyone demanding legacy versions being made available to play -- I don't think you understand that these don't exist. The devs would have to backwards code the game to re-create a legacy version.

Could Loftar just root out the problem by reviewing every line of code one by one? Maybe but that's insane and this is an outdated version of Haven as they work to rebuild the engine from the ground up anyway. They've been working on this for a very long time.

Right now is potentially the worst time to contact or demand things from the devs as Salem just went open beta. This isn't to say you can't though. If you want to reach them then send them a message here or on the Salem forums. They're often found on irc as well.

well, ya know, J&L aren't the only coders in the world. As one can see on almost every game in the mmo field, there's 50 clones of every game...lol ALthough I agree with the OP, realize the devs are busy with that Salem thing. You may try spreading the word in coder forums, game forums, ect, ect (IF ya cannot do it yourself) and get someone interested in pseudo-cloning the game. Otherwise, wait and deal unfortunatly..

- Before the problem existed. Wong time because the problem did not exist yet.
- At the moment the problem got coded. Wrong time because you would be burned on the stake for knowing that.
- At the moment the problem got noticeable. Wrong time because is not a big problem yet.
- At the moment the problem got worse. Wrong time because there where more important things on the todo list.
- At the moment the problem got a game breaker. Wrong time because there not around anymore.
