I would like to inquire as to how it's possible to mine in a perfect straight line.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

At an angle you can mine, you can trick it to think there isn't 3 spots open behind you.

There are bots that do straight mining forever,
and seeing as the amount of statues there is
AD tier.... i'd say everything there is botted
while they're out abusing bugs to raid abandoned
vaults / villages

Mining perfectly at a corner pixels tricks the system into thinking there are not 3 tiles behind you. It's precarious for a human to do, but simple for a bot.

Straight mining is quite easy, even when not using bots.
I'm sure there are lots of people that can teach you how to do it effectively, you've only got to ask around.
