Are you an asshole?

When you play H&H long enough, sometimes you can't help but do asshole things. Maybe you were wandering the wilderness one day and came across an unclaimed camp and inside you found boxes full of metal tools and high-end curios. You know they don't belong to you but you take them anyways. Or perhaps while scouting for a new place to live you find an already established settlement. You can tell people live there because the crops have been recently sown, but there is no claim, so instead of building a new place from scratch you just claim the entire area as your own.

Whether we do these things on purpose to make other people's lives miserable or simply as a means of convenience/survival, we've all done something at least once that we're not proud of.

I came across my old alt's place while exploring, so I decided to look around and see what all has changed. I came across a claimed area, and someone was starting a palisade wall. I was starting my own back at my place and I noticed that the guy didn't commit his materials to the construction. So I took them for my own. Sorry, random guy. Next time claim your stuff and commit the materials.

I steal what I need to survive as I move from place to place, and I summon anyone else who does the same.

I pick up the stuff i find usefull from unclaimed areas. I call it Scavenging and is exciting like Exploring for resources nodes, but i usually don't take what i Don't need and surely not if it's claimed.

Well, i don't steal if i don't need or i don't think the place is abandoned so i don't feel an asshole, but sometimes happen that i scavenge from a living place that i think is abandoned.
My friend stoled 2 times the unclaimed stuff of my Cousin. XD This is the scavengers era! XD

When I started playing again I tried to steal some guys stuff, but the next day I end up giving it all back + some curios I found I'm so lame.

If something is available to me, and it isn't owned by a friend, I have no problem taking it.

Sometimes when I see unclaimed palisades in the making etc, I'll destroy signposts and seal walls just because I can.

But I'm an evil person.

world 5 when i had just gotten my pali up (no WWWs or extra stuff yet) i stole tin nuggets and a q 60+ sling from a boat from a village that was moving in on the lake across from mine. was very nice because i could finally hunt

i guess this doesnt make me such a horrible asshole though. but i still felt like one XD

at the VERY beginning of world 5, like int he first 2-3 days or so, i saw someone leave a boat to go pick up a foragable, so i stole his boat before he could get back. inside were 2 crates of fish, he seemed pretty upset

I started a new alt character and found a guy building up his stuff. he didnt log off when he saw me, so I assumed he was new. I said hi, and he said hi back and then we made small talk until I decided to press on. I came back an hour later while he was logged off and wrecked all his shit... Im not sure why.

i once found a village building a brickwall, and they were only missing 5 steel for the gate. so i threw in 5 steel, completed their brickwall for them, and got the key
