why is it so hard to get friends to play this game?

is it the complex crafting system? the clunky controls? Ppl can't use lag as an excuse because that's gone now.. sort of. I already lost one friend to a " rage quit" after an encounter with ants . And can't seem to get anyone else to give it a real try. Anybody else have this problem? Maybe ppl that play HnH are just of a special stock thats hard to find these days

This is exactly how everyone I introduce to it react. They look at it and say "That looks booring, what's the goal?".
I did have a friend who kind of got into it but quit partially because of the lag. Nowadays he just says he doesn't bother with it.

Cuz haven is game of patience and time, you need soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much time to earn something here, and most people get bored after few mins

yea that does have alot to do with it, ppl dont even give it a chance. but one would think with all the popularity of indie games now like Terraria there would be more appreciation for the old pixel art

I only ever got 2 of my real life friends to play this with me, but that was during the time in 2012 where I basically quit after realizing I had a life.
