Sprint Grinding

Postby Flowen » Wed Jun 12, 2013 6:08 am

Does anyone else just hang out in a grassland with 3 buckets full of water, running back and forth to grind their hunger down? I'll admit that this is incredibly boring, but I can usually get 3-4 perception level ups in around 15 minutes by doing this (along with random charisma, intelligence and psyche level ups )

LOL
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Sometimes I use this method when bored. Usually with few boars and foxes following.
People are capable of kindness angels can only dream of, yet can commit sins that put demons to shame.

I'm pretty sure sprinting is more efficient, since you can be literally drinking water non-stop until you hit 50% hunger.

Opposed to figuratively drinking water? Do you also sprint literally?

Na, he used literally appropriately as you can toggle drinking while you're running so that it acts more time efficiently. He is indeed drinking water the entire time that he is sprinting, as opposed to drinking it periodically as his stamina drains or only when he stops running. If you're going to get on someone's case for word usage, make sure they're using it incorrectly first. =)

If you read my post, you'd see I wasn't correcting him - I was just making fun of his redundant use of "literally".

When you're going to correct someone on their correction make sure they're actually correcting first.
