perched perch using fillets?

Postby Tonkyhonk » Sat Aug 03, 2013 4:11 pm

does anyone remember when we were not supposed to butcher perches to make perched perches?
or am i just dreaming and going crazy, due to this hot summer?

i mean, look at the completed perched perch, it is not using a fillet....

Pretty sure it requires an unbutchered perch rather than a fillet.

that was how i remembered to make one, but then, as aikidragon has pointed out above, it isnt the way now. been wondering why it got changed or if it actually got changed since nobody around confirms my experience :(
(i know i hadnt cooked fish after w3 for some reason, but i do remember swearing to myself "Never to butcher perches!")

I've always remembered it to be a filet, and not a unbutchered fish.

Perhaps back in w3 or before it was the full fish, I don't remember, but I know atleast in w5 it was an uncooked filet, as that was one of my market products.

thanks, flame, but loftar says he does not find the change log for perched perch :(

now im at a loss, but this memory of mine of ruining a cupboard of perches (by butchering them and couldnt make perched perch) is still damn clear.
or maybe this hot summer is getting all val, flame, and me at different parts of the earth .... well, anyone else?

I think its odd that perched perch doesn't require any cooking.
