perched perch using fillets?

does anyone remember when we were not supposed to butcher perches to make perched perches?
or am i just dreaming and going crazy, due to this hot summer?

i mean, look at the completed perched perch, it is not using a fillet....

that was how i remembered to make one, but then, as aikidragon has pointed out above, it isnt the way now. been wondering why it got changed or if it actually got changed since nobody around confirms my experience
(i know i hadnt cooked fish after w3 for some reason, but i do remember swearing to myself "Never to butcher perches!")

I've always remembered it to be a filet, and not a unbutchered fish.

Perhaps back in w3 or before it was the full fish, I don't remember, but I know atleast in w5 it was an uncooked filet, as that was one of my market products.

now im at a loss, but this memory of mine of ruining a cupboard of perches (by butchering them and couldnt make perched perch) is still damn clear.
