Mental Health Survey (College Assignment)

Postby jordancoles » Thu Nov 28, 2013 1:20 am

Hey everyone, if you have a couple minutes to fill out this survey for my class that would be great. It's 100% confidential.

Is there a correlation between spirituality and mental health problems?

Those figures are quite disturbing, but you did post it on the haven forums so its hard to take it seriously.

I think there is a correlation between mental health problems and too much gaming, therefore whilst disturbing, I wasn't surprised. People with mental health problems tend to be reclusive and gaming provides a filler and is somewhat therapeutic. Though i'm sure there were a lot of false answers in there, the percentages are way too high to be realistic.

I wish you'd included the graphs for the social questions here Jordan, can you put them in?

I agree, often gamers have social phobias and/or other issues with social settings.

there are sooo many gamers and they are sooo different of each other... prolly it's more being human living in a weird world hurts mental health...

This is of course true, i'm not saying gaming is responsible for mental health problems per se, though I do think it has an effect on youngsters if their playing times aren't regulated, i'm saying that I wasn't surprised a large number of full time gamers have mental health problems.

Though I still think a lot of people probably thought it was 'funny' to answer yes to those particular questions regardless of truth. :)
