for anyone who watches the walking dead, what did you think about this episode? I was shocked and heart broken when Beth died.... please share your thoughts

I wasn't surprised at all, it was very predictable in my opinion and I saw it a mile away. It was a "finale" of sorts, so someone had to die, and they spent the entire show developing Beth and focusing on her so that it would have more impact on the viewer when, inevitably, she died at the end.
Either way it was still pretty sad, even though it was her own fucking fault for being so dumb.

Well, I was hoping it would be Carol rather than Beth but it was obvious it would be one of them. There are only really two decent characters in the whole show, that clearly being Daryl and Michonne, Glenn and Maggie do ok as secondary characters but the others are dreadful. Rick is cheese on a stick and I thought this was supposed to be his last season, so that was also disappointing.

They had a great first season. Sadly they fell trap as all other zombie movies where they template the original Day of the walking dead. All drama instead of survival. Might as well removed all the zombies and you wouldn't even know they were gone. Post apocalyptic drama with walking corpses.

Yeah, I agree, I only still watch it for Daryl if I'm honest, lol, that is the whole reason him and Michonne are still credible, because they don't talk, lol.
I think this series was an improvement on the last two though, at least they were out of that prison and with them being split more chances of some of them dying off.

Do any of you watch 'z nation'? It's ten times worse in terms of acting, drama, character development, etc, but ..... the guy who plays the half zombie/half human, Murphy, has some awesome one liners as the show goes on, he is not much at the start but by the end of season one he is definitely a reason to watch it, he is really funny.

There are only so many times you can jump-scare an audience or have 50 zombies appear out of thin air before people start to get bored of it

I was watching it with my dad and he was guessing it would be Carol since she had so much screen time in the last few episodes, but as soon as she made it out safety it was obviously Beth who would bite the dust.

I feel like if I had more imagination and didn't look at these shows so analytically I'd enjoy them more.
