Is the repatching with backup only for that grid?

Server crashes while the grid is being unloaded. Server then saves data. Map is freed. And saves as that. Only that grid will be in need of repairs.

Any predictions on the radius of fallout? I'd like to know if I should go ahead and make myself a gas mask out of this extra leather, glass, rubber, tin, and charcoal (for the filter).
