Russian translation

Postby brude » Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:06 pm

I returned to my hearthfire after some adventuring and found a runestone with this message: "зто костер мудака погаНого и вора." Google translate suggests it's someone angry at me? Or a warning about someone else? I'm curious, as I haven't even seen anyone or taken anything of anyones.

Thanks,
-bryan

So that message means "this is a hearthfire of gay thief and jackass". In Russian language it was writed much more brute.
Maybe you have stolen something?

Or someone is assuming he stole something just because he's closest, or the first person they found.

Or someone is going around leaving these to sow distrust between neighbours for shits and giggles.

Thanks for the translations OvShit & PiaFraus, and for softening the language :) I'm not sure why they left the message but the runestone looks rather nice. I may keep it around for a little bit.

[edit] @Sarge: uh oh, now i'm scared! How do you make lubricant in HH (just in case)?

You can ignore my "translation", I just thought that since the 2 Russian guys' (assumption) translations didn't really match that I might as well take a "guess" too :p

"This fire belongs to shitty motherfucker and thief." - direct translation without censoring.

THere are no forum rules. And I'm inclined to believe the runestone because the OP already knew what the runestone said =d
