Oh god... where has the lag gone? :|

Is this just a placebo effect, or... am I really experiencing perfectly lag-free gameplay right now?

Please let this be real, please let this be real...

That's why I'm afraid it's a placebo effect. But seriously, since I logged back in, I have not had a single delay or spike. I haven't had to sit and wait for my character to move, for my cursor to pick up an item, or anything.

I'm enjoying this heavenly experience while it lasts... :D

Well those donations buy more than just fancy strippers and a good night.

Well, I hope it isn't just a placebo effect. I just discovered* a very major source of lag and wrote a work-around** for it. The new algorithm is untested, however, so it may cause problems. Please report oddities with long-duration effects, such as crops not growing, growing at weird intervals, &c.

Well, this one's for free, actually. :)

* Or, to be more precise, rediscovered. I knew from the day I wrote the algorithm in question that it would cause problems in the long run, but I had forgotten about it.
** It could certainly be fixed better, but this should solve the current problems.

It feels amazing. I'm pretty new, so the lag is all I've ever experienced... it's like a whole new game to me now. :) Thank you for your hard work.

Oh my god.

I just went in my house.

And heard a piano remix of the house theme.

Please tell me that this isn't just me.

PS. The piano playing was very beautiful - who did it?
