I am a sad panda.

Why do you do this,
Why do you hurt my feelings,
They say nothingness is bliss,
But I don't agree with these things.

Wasting resources for little experience,
You could be doing something,
Instead you're busy ruining the whole place
Reducing it to nothing.

Unfortunately some features in this game never will be accessible without exploiting.
Therefore, I have to do it to get the most out of this game, luckily lofb and jortar know that this is an issue.

The amount of moves I need to use is quite a lot, and its not easily quickly selecting these especially how fast combat goes at 10 intensity.

This process, which will probably take over an hour, is boring and grindy. If the server decides to PMS during this hour, I can start over.

It is a gamble I need to take to access a huge portion of features involving cows. And who says I get a cow?

Edit: So far it has yet to decide to attempt to launch an attack on me.

The auroch needs to be able to reach you for the real combat to happen. The only thing you can do while it's penned is call down the thunder for IP points. Once you have a good supply of IP (somewhere between 20-30), remove one of the signs so a single auroch can get free, and use sidestep to build combat advantage, to lower the auroch's ability to raise the intensity on you. Once you've got full advantage, consume the flames to reset the intensity, then switch in quell, and watch the intensity meter. They often will reset it to 1 right before quell lands, and if they do you need to quickly switch back to consume so the turn isn't wasted, then back to quell once it's reset again. Usually I take around 20-30 SHP damage per tame cycle with q15 leather equipment.

Make sure you have a pen at home too so you can stick it in there and wait for it to rage again. Just make sure not to take the rope off, or go into any houses, or spend too much time away from it or it will reset.

Amazing, I disconnected on my first taming attempt while being on 60%

now I'm back on 40% again after half an hour.

Wouldn't let me sidestep or consume the flame with him even on the other side of a roundpole fence, so if you can do it, then I don't know what to tell you.

Perhaps I'm just the better exploiter here and know how to fight something without being in range all the time.

I want an explanation, I want a fix, I want reimbursement.

I just can't fucking seem to tame an auroch past 60% because it kicks me off in 2 minutes after getting it.

What he means by this is, he read whatever post it was on here that tells you to leave off a corner of the pen, which allows you to squeeze into the corner to attack, and then back away before being attacked (they're too big to fit through that small of a gap to get you). I found it easiest to do this on a N or S corner, where you can more accurately line yourself up. Makes the entire process 100% safe, all you need to do is browse the forum in between quells until the job is done. :)

Honestly though, it really doesn't seem worth it to me. They eat shittons of food every day and only give milk after calving. That in itself takes several RL days, not counting waiting for them to even do the dirty. It just seems a whole lot quicker to me to pick high quality clovers instead.
