Make fires or Basket till you get 200lp then get your first skill.
Then try and use that skill to get a few others.
Then start building your place.

get hunting skill and catch rabbits for food and bones. raise explore to about 10 and start saving taproots. then get the fishing skill, make a fishing pole (fishing line is made out of taproots, fishhooks made from rabbit bones), get wheelmaking and build a boat. find jumping fish in the river and fish there, and your food problems will be pretty much solved for starting out.

your first "big goal" should be the yeomanry skill, once you have that you can set up a claim and a palisade which will protect your land and possessions somewhat

Welcome to haven and hearth, hope you enjoy the game.

Check out the wiki, try to keep in mind that you'll eventually lose your character to either another character, a bug, feature or a reset. It won't be fair, but you can start another one, and building up is where most of the fun is :)

The wiki will help almost ANY of your needs, make sure you use it! It's a very valuable resource.
