FFS Common Decency Please

Postby Griegor » Sat May 22, 2010 3:24 am

Guys,
Please don't be a douche and clear cut the forest all around an active village when they are offline. There is no reason for that and it's a total jackass move. Go find a nice uninhabited area to screw up. Some of us actually like having some trees around our village.

I swear if I find this guy when he's out logging i will take such pleasure in murdering him.

You're barking up the wrong tree.

Bah, someone's been lopping down trees around my settlement, then cutting up the ones I plant in their places. While they're still barely more than twigs. Between that and the theft of my honey and medical supplies, I am not a happy panda.

It's quite a shame to see all these clearings full of tree stumps and logs.

Make a huge claim/village/brickwall.

There, solved.

LOL by the time I have my claim out that far I fear all my tree will be gone. I'll be spending all week replanting them.

I hadn't thought it necessary before now due to pretty much being a hermit. But uh... Yeah. That obviously not true anymore. So... Big ass claim set up now. Shame, I'd originally wanted to allow folks to help themselves to a few things from my garden.

Everyone in this game steals a few trinkets here and there but clear cutting is a big no no. It's like being invited to a dinner party and suddenly taking a dump on the plate next to the turkey.

Claim/wall in your trees.

You have any idea how easy it is for me to find oyur village, set a bunch of hearths hiding behind rocks and stuff and go off lopping all your trees down? Not like you can stop someone who tried either, they'd just toss more and more drones at you.

Then make a thread accusing you of mass murder and directing people to the scents.

Unfortunately it's one of two cases. Either case A, a new player who's so new that he'd just be confused as you why you killed him because he's just doing it for LP, or B, somebody who has decided they don't like you and wants to make your gameplay difficult. Neither is likely to stop unless direct action is taken.
