Anyone in Southern Canada or Northern USA get a really awesome storm? It rained so much where we live that my basement flooded about 3 inches!!!

was that type of rain that looks like thick white strings all the way down from sky to earth

I got plenty of rain, but no flooding I think the storm might have been worse a little further north. I

I'm in Ontario and it has just started to rain. I wonder if we will get as much rain as you? I would rather it storm. I love thunder/lightning! Where abouts in Canada do you live?

EDIT: AHH! It's really storming now. I just had a power surge. Let's hope my connection doesn't completely go out. It's times like this that I'm grateful for having a laptop!
