Haven and Hearth Wiki

A few people might already know, but I've recently adopted the H&H wiki, which was founded by Erik The Blue, and abandoned by him sometime in late October. The place is a mess, it's had the occasional hardcore contributor, but there was never any housekeeping or anti-vandalism. I'm looking into ways to make the wiki easier to contribute to, easier to comprehend, and overall more efficient (such as adding amount of "fuel required" or "keyboard shortcut" (think DF-wiki-style) to relevant templates).

So in between edits I wanted to poke around in the actual H&H community. People are constantly pointing others from IRC to the wiki, so it's obviously serving its purpose. What do you want to see on the wiki? Anything missing that should be added, or anything that needs to be changed completely?

All opinions (and wiki-contributions) are appreciated.

Good good. I added the pearl necklace entry, but it needs the quality scale. I believe that the amount of LA you get depends on quality starting at 40% at q10. but other than that, i'm clueless.

i still miss a real helping noobguide. the quick help guide in the wiki and the how-to here in the forum do some tasks - but i don't think they help THAT much.
i thought about an improved version of our how-to (with pictures, detailed explanations.... and we need spoilers!)

Update the FEP table and also maybe make a page for each stat (dex, con, perc) and make FEP tables there only ordered by the % of the stat it gives from highest to lowest.

Has percentages already. Both numbers are useful. We could probably use multiple tables for that though, yeah.

I wish there was more information on terrains.
Such as what trees grow better on what, and if you can sprint or not.
At the very least an entry on the confusing 'Jungle' areas.

Needs decent articles on caves, cows, and sheep. (I plan to do the cave one sooner or later...I have the experience, but none are near my new home, so it'd help if somebody could toss up a nice screenshot.)

Other than that, it's like everyone else said: the guides/glossary/etc are largely outdated or poorly organized, the main FEP table is a bit of a mess (and needs its own explanation), and so on. Terrain's been coming along lately, but needs completion and details, etc etc.

It's been increasingly accurate and helpful, overall. Unless you can convert the whole thing to Mediawiki or something, all it needs is maintenance.

how about the foreign languages on the english articles?

Here is a list of things that need to be AVOIDED:
Non-English content should remain off the wiki. This is an English wiki; everything else clutters up the articles.

i would like to see them moved to the proper wikis (e.g. to the russian one)
