You have a specific problem with me, huh? Feel free to write me a pm then.
There just have been dozens of these threads and I feel no need to discuss the same shit in each and everyone of them. The devs will come up with a solution, until then donate whatever you can.

I think it was a joke...

Read some other posts from him. I really think it was not, although I seem to be terrible at detecting sarcasm on the internet. I mean he was being ironic, just that it was (like exewu pointed out) whining about my "rude" behaviour.

I was more pointing out the fact that while non-mod posters were offering insight and good responses to OP's thread, you mods did nothing but give him snide comments telling him to give money and that he's just repeating threads already made.

The man is offering a solution to lag and offering to give money out of his own pocket to improve the game.
Instead of welcoming remarks and discussion about the topic, moderators (Who are representatives of the H&H team) post things like this:

Now this was not so hard to find, was it?

And sadly it's the same in 9/10ths of the threads in this Forum.
People who love the game suggest things and moderators bash them.

Why would someone donate their money without a guarantee to what it's going towards? The OP and other people in this thread obviously want to spend their money reducing lag. The reason they don't throw their money into the donate paypal account is because they have no idea what it might be going to. It 'might' go to a connection upgrade or it 'might' go to something else. Saying "DONATE" is a mediocre response at best. The thread by Jorb in the announcement section summed up says "We don't really know what we're going to do, but we're going to keep saving money." People have offered great solutions to lag and have been willing to put them in place themselves and all the moderators think to do is insult them for making a duplicate thread.

So all in all I summarize it as Haven & Hearth's global forum policy:
We hate success.
We hate your posts.
If you're not us your input is moot.

please don't mistake my succinctness for rudeness. this has been discussed at great length, in both the server status thread and the tax dollars at work thread. if you wish to discuss it further, please post in the relevant topic. if you wish to discuss the moderation of this forum any further, please do so in the thread dedicated to that subject.

Quit whining, Atherman. It's all you ever seem to do. The world owes you nothing.
