Lol why whats the point? 2 minutes after it i was back in but that's not the point im trying to make.
Why do this? I bet most of them have Griefer Alts they don't give a shit about someone else (just themself and there beloved friends)
Nothing wrong with that but no need to take it out on someone that is asking for help. but no problem mostly you see on that iRC is flaming.

The fact that the #haven irc is moderated by an ingame faction is not cool. Any thoughts on alternatives?
I mean, #haven is pretty old and well-established, but I can't see why EVERY noob who switches on Pacho's IRC should get warped into a non-neutral channel moderated by... well, let's just say, interesting personalities.

Another thought: Delamore, why don't you make Darki become an OP of #haven?

Getting banned on IRC is a joke for the most part, it seems the ban list is wiped every few weeks, not sure if on purpose or by accident...

Don't really need an IRC though, you might think a lot of people are in there, but there are probably about 15~20, the rest are idlers or people using pacho's too stupid to disable IRC.

With that said it is still (and will be for pretty much ever at this rate) the #1 place to go for quick help in Haven and Hearth.

If you don't like it though, as burg said you have two options:
1)Don't use that IRC channel
2)Make your own

I am currently reworking the moderator list on #Haven, if you have any suggestions or think you would be a good moderator post about it here.
Everyone aside from older moderators has been removed from the list, and you are unbanned.
Hopefully I can make the IRC something closer to an official channel than a channel run by Goons, but I'll need people to actually help me find new mods.
