Nope, was heading to Bottleneck, and accidentally stumbled upon him, so I attacked him so he wouldnt log, he shot back and ran, takes over 100 arrows to kill me.

HP is not a measure of wounds received, it represents more, the overall combat fatigue that your body withstands, Dodging without receiving hp damage would be an effortless dodge, a hit that damages you but not by much would be similar to a dodge that exhausts you.

That is the flimsy argument presented by the inventors of the HP system. It is the only way that the HP system, as a whole, makes any sense.

Personally I've always thought that a move towards a Dwarf Fortress style damage system would be nice. But that's probably just my personal biases showing.
