reminds me of My Side of the Mountain
Neat!

I love that book Jackard.

I would love to do that sort of thing but alas my job takes up too much of my time (it is the best job in the world though) I am going to be starting up archery though *hugs new birthday bow* so maybe I can shoot so rabbits and do some skinning - which I have to admit I enjoy

Hey, did your emergency supplied include a cellphone? Cause if they did (aka - you had a way of getting help at any time), it's not really survival, is it? :P

But good for you for having a self discovery trip, those are always good, I just hope you didn't eat too many of "those" mushrooms, resulting in strawberry river dips :D

I actually did bring a cell phone capable of taking pictures - just in case my professor didn't think sketching and journaling was enough evidence that I actually did it. Unfortunately I just got a new phone and it's going to be a pain in the balls to get the pics off my old one. I will try in a few days though, just for you Loftar.

Yeah, my emergency supplies included a satellite phone, a first aid kit, some rations, and a lighter. I wasn't really prepared to risk my life too much, to be honest. I didn't need to use any of that stuff though.
