As for knocking down your wall, I think we could do that and would be more than willing to help out. I'm only a 40 in strength but with a couple of pots of tea and a borrowed bear cape I think I could do it.

Excellent! The problem with the wall lies here. As the image shows, the main wall's portions don't match - the other is one tile east from the other, thus making a gate between them impossible to build. I suppose most of the front part of the palisade needs to be put out of it's misery. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm off for the night now, but feel free to work on it whenever you have the time. If I happen to be online then, I can of course supply you with tea and other necessities.

EDIT: Oh damn, the altpocalypse change.. Looks like it's a -lot- bigger pain in the arse than I thought.

I'd be happy to help tear down the aforementioned walls if:
1. You can find me while I'm online.
2. Provide me with tea/food, tearing down walls is tiring/hungry work.

Ah, if all one needs is 50 str to dent palisades, then I can help, though I imagine Blaze would do things much faster.

With 50 strength (40 with belief + 10 bear cloak) and a pickaxe, you'd still need to expend 5,000 points of stamina... And I'd need to whack it ~148 times...

The walls have not been repaired since the altpocalypse change, though. They're pretty red already, if that helps any.

I'm a bit stronger than Dondy. Not as strong as you, however. Maybe I should drink more beer, but I prefer my stats balanced.

By the way, how do I compute how many hits for a given strength?

Damage dealt to walls is STR/10 + Tool damage - wall armor.

Axes give +1 damage and pickaxes give +2 damage.
Palisades have 6 armor and brick walls have 20.
