What? Why not? We have pretty easy decay prevention now, so what's stopping it?

If construction signs built on claims and pavement don't decay I don't see a big probem with this either.

yeah, all those damn signs taking up space on fields and river sides everywhere, the only problem I see is if your taming or fighting something, and one of your sign posts gets hit with decay.

It doesn't have to be one-hit decay, 2 or 3 hits before a sign disappears sounds ok. It would also be extremely annoying if a house or other major construction site decays away while building it, so sign decay must take this into account.

how about whenever the server starts up (like after crashes) it removes all signs with 1 branch in it, or just 1 of anything (milestones with 1 stone in them)
