It isn't the fact that we want them so much, it's just the thrill of finding a little piece of unknown history out in the wilderness. Who were they? How were they killed? Why were they killed?

You don't get that from alt corpses because you KNOW where and how they came to be.

For the seasoned hearthling no, it won't repel, but it works excellently well against newbies wandering around looking for some easy pickings.

And besides... We are left with very little with the means of "decoration" and personally I feel skellies fit that niche quite nicely!

Hell it works in the opposite sense too! Find a small outpost who appears active, but a little slow with progression. Take one from your collection and sneak one in the middle of their outpost during one of their inactive hours. 50% of the time the results will be awesome.

PS. Though in hindsight this is about the equivalent of sticking a flaming cross in their yard, but hell it's just a game.
