Yeesh. Any strategy in how you are going to know exactly where to dig to connect them? And good luck with any sections requiring hefty amounts of strength to break (if only we could get some TNT). I hope you submit screen shots of that when you are done! It sounds awesome.

My guess is Party with someone who is in one cave, you in the other, go as close to each other as you can in each cave > Dig...

Will need to have a ton of nuggets to make supports though, maybe make it look cool with having it four tiles wide with a Support on either side every 5 tiles...

ore quality and rock quality seem to be the same layer. hardness seems independent.

How I can remove the things that fall from the roof? The boulders that fall from ceiling. My english is not perfect but I think you know what I talk about. I try lift and mining commands but these dont work, look like unnmovable items.
