I miss when making a big village made sense and not having to resort to a bunch of hobo farms.
I miss the short time where mines were endless reservoirs of possibility and wonder for the budding architect and not fucking forests of totems.
I miss the time when useless larping faggots stayed quit and didn't come back to fuck up early world for other people who would have to suffer the products of their idiocy in the long run.

I miss the Constantinople marketplace - a pretty dang good implementation of an awesome idea.

I occasionally find myself missing World 1 Bottleneck. Heck, World 1 in general, where the battle lines were more easily drawn and the politics less complex. Well, maybe 'lol i haet teh goonz' was a little too non-complex, but whatever. This is probably also largely a function of friends lost.

I also miss the novelty of mineholes being a paltry few hundred wood blocks and placeable anywhere. I built three of those damn things, too, two for my own estates.

All that being gone is for the better, but hey, nostalgia!
