They knew a thief could steal their shit though, they just failed to prepare for that. I didn't know somebody could summon me wherever if I didn't have a hearthfire, nor did I have any method of knowing.

Actually, I had destroyed my hearth fire so that I could spawn in a random place in the wild. Afterwards I never really saw reason to build a new one

It's called the Wiki. There's at least two of them at this point.

If you want to complain about "not being able to know that", why don't you go find some of the people who were there when it was first implemented.

The Wiki had no mention of it. I had no way to learn about a subject that I didn't know existed. It didn't even cross my mind, it just seems to me that players should be warned ingame about things easily life threatening such as this.

interestingly enough he is telling the truth. the wiki doesnt say anything on the topic of hearth fireless summoning. could somebody fix this?

im pretty sure the game does't really tell you anything about what to do so you can't complain about there being no ingame warnings.. :S
