But then they of coursed nerfed it so killing a bear is only a fraction of the fun and rewarding as it once was. Another example of this would be the farming nerf, regardless of your soil Q it will get to the point where you only get +2 instead of 5, less rewarding less fun. And I am not discussing the balance of the game just the overall enjoyment of it

Yeah let's make every single task give 1000LP! That way the game will be fun for everyone!!!

You people are ridiculous and hilarious. The LP received from a task should have no effect on how "fun" it is for you to do.

In my opinion it sounds like you took it up just for the LP then. The benefit from mining is metals, not just LP.

This is unfortunate. Bucket making should have been nerfed as well.

Sarchi wrote:The game's going in the direction where there's more grind. LP rates are being decreased while alternative, more enjoyable methods of grinding are being neglected. It's a slippery slope.

I agree with this completely. I am happy to see any easily grindable tasks are being nerfed, but the things that are most important to progress in the game still remain unchanged in terms of LP gain.

Looks like murder is gonna be more popular now. Supports get increased, but in exchange, we get dick all in the way of lp for hacking at a wall that takes forever to mine, so that we have a very low chance of acquiring some metal.

Mining nerf... aw... now ive got to do more digging. its gonna get dangerous, cuz now ive actually gotta go for stone. well the support update helps though...

[edit]
X4? I just checked, the LP gain has been halved. its still alot of LP, all I do is mine, but not for LP

[edit]
okay, maybe not half, its actually down to like... 1/3 of what it was. but still.

It would have proven your point much better and also proven you really do understand how to fight people and not only how to slaughter helpless sheep.

Mining got Nerfed!

Postby Projeear » Mon Jan 31, 2011 1:25 pm

Godammit!!

From 58 a strike, with 360%, to 18 a strike, with 360%.

Godammit! Mining is doomed in this game, at this rate. Sigh.

Mind; not that I should complain. I still earn a good amount. 10k LP in 10 minutes or so.

Edit;

That's with a chair, not water. And with 58 a strike... so now It's more like 10k LP in 25 minutes, I guess.
